By accessing or using Valkr ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company, you represent that you have the authority to bind that company to these terms.
If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
Valkr is an AI-powered Slack bot platform that allows companies to deploy automated question-answering bots inside their Slack workspaces, using their own uploaded documentation as the knowledge source.
The Service includes the Valkr dashboard, the Slack bot application, document storage, and all related APIs and infrastructure.
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service in ways not permitted by the API.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to it.
- Use the Service for any purpose that could cause harm to Valkr, its users, or third parties.
- Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission.
You retain all ownership rights to the documents and content you upload to Valkr. By uploading content, you grant Valkr a limited license to process, store, and use that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
We do not use your content to train AI models. We do not share your content with other customers. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content you provide to the Service.
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may issue refunds at our discretion.
Free trials are offered on all plans. Your card will not be charged until the trial period ends. You may cancel at any time during the trial to avoid any charges.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers. Price changes will not apply mid-subscription-period.
Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card information on our servers.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to the Service until the period ends.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation.
Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted. You may request immediate deletion by contacting [email protected].
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. Scheduled maintenance, third-party service outages (including Slack, OpenAI, and Supabase), and unforeseen incidents may cause temporary unavailability.
We will make reasonable efforts to notify customers of planned maintenance in advance.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated answers will be accurate or complete.
You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of any information provided by the AI before acting on it. Valkr is a productivity tool, not a substitute for professional advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Valkr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amounts you paid to Valkr in the three months preceding the claim.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Florida.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active customers via email with at least 14 days notice. Continued use of the Service after that period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
